It looks like Rockwell Tools is bringing the 14.4V cordless class back from the dead. With 18V tools becoming more powerful than ever and 12V tools becoming smaller than ever, Rockwell is looking to fill the gap.
Do you remember the Mixing Mate that Rockler came out with last summer? It fit onto a regular quart-sized paint can and promised a no-hassle way for users to store, mix, and pour their paints and finishes. It must have been successful because Rockler has now come out with a gallon-sized version.

It seems as though a new tax has gone into effect here in California that adds an additional 1% in taxes on the price of certain wood products sold in the state. 1% might not seem like much, but when you add that onto the state sales tax, and the local sales tax, it all adds up. What is worse is that, according to retailers, the tax code is confusing and is costing them money.

I just never liked the idea of having to carry it around on the jobsite along with all of my other tools. But Timothy Wilmots' modified MFTC (Multi-Function Tool Cart) looks like an ideal way to transport both the MFT and your tools.
