Leaked Photos Of The New 12V DeWALT Drill Gun?

by Chris     June 22, 2012
Leaked Photos Of The New 12V DeWALT Drill Gun?

The newest Yellow tool promises to make holes faster than any other ultra compact drill gun on the market today. However, with this greater speed does come some limitations. Unlike traditional drill guns, this model is limited to only 13 holes per charge and can only produce 11.5mm or .452 in sized holes. Its limitations might sound like a deal breaker but it also has the ability to produce holes at distances up to, and surpassing, 55 yards.

In case it wasn't already obvious by the outlandish specs, what you are seeing is not a new drill from DeWalt but a Glock pistol that has been customized by a DeWalt fan to somewhat resemble a 12V Max DeWalt Drill.

Milwaukee Heated Jackets On Sale at CPO Outlets

by Chris     June 21, 2012

Milwaukee just recently announced some new updated versions of their popular M12 cordless heated jackets and it looks like with the new model's release being just around the corner, CPO Outlets has marked down much of their current stock to just $139.99. This price includes the jacket, the battery and the charger. If you already have a M12 battery and charger, CPO also has select Jacket Only sizes and styles for only $99.99.

The regular price of the Milwaukee Heated Jacket kits are still in the $170 range and I believe when the jackets were first released they were priced at $179. The new jackets are coming out later this year and will be priced at around $199. The latest line of Milwaukee Heated Jackets feature more heating zones, heated pockets, and a new fleece inner liner.

Milwaukee Media Event 2012 Wrap-Up

The city named Milwaukee may be known to many folks as the brewing powerhouse, but the brand name Milwaukee is known to many tradesmen as the tool powerhouse. Remembering back to my first mornings on a job site, where I noticed electricians gathered around a train of brown gang boxes, and where plumbers congregated similarly nearby, and where HVAC guys and pipe fitters too stood ready to lift open those heavy brown lids, and notably when the lids raised and arms rushed in, out came the stout red cases with the name Milwaukee in prominent white.

Last week I had the opportunity to visit Milwaukee Tool Company, where that same red with white lettering was proudly displayed on the shirts of their project managers—each a specialist for a particular tool line. In turn, these project managers enthusiastically revealed their latest Milwaukee tool, demonstrating its use while explaining its innovation and quality. The following tools are just some of the highlights I saw and hope to review in greater detail in further articles.
