I don't really like talking about jobsite injuries as they are often painful to read about and see, but it is not everyday we hear about a man surviving getting impaled with an iron bar that passes completely through his head.

I really like to write about products that can help you be more organized, and this has a lot to do with how unorganized I can be. I know I am not the only one out there that has a row of long handled tools leaning up against the garage. Racor has come out with a new tool hook that they say is better and safer than the traditional tool hook.

Not too long ago Rockler came out with their silicone glue brush and it received rave reviews. In light of such success, Rockler has just expanded from just the silicone glue brush to a full silicone glue application kit.

Back in January 2011 I reviewed the Porter-Cable 12-volt Clampsaw and really liked the Clampsaw feature. I liked the feature so much that the Clampsaw was chosen as a ToolRank Editors Pick. The tool did have its problems, but I suspect Porter-Cable took their time to address these for the 18-volt version (PCC475B).

Sometimes when we want to get a sneak peek at possible future tools, all we have to do is take a look at what is coming out in Europe. We don't always get what is offered, but when Bosch Germany announces new tools we take notice.

Along with Milwaukee's announcement of new higher capacity batteries comes their announcement of new Brushless M12 cordless drivers. In my opinion Milwaukee has been the leader in 12-volt ultra compact tools, and they have shown this again by leading the pack with Brushless ultra compact drivers.

All of the signs pointed to the inevitable release of next generation of higher capacity batteries, and Milwaukee has made the announcement official today. Not only is the M18 line of tools getting a boost, but so does the M12 ultra compact class of tools.

When you are working with a lot of different tools on your workbench, it can become crowded pretty easily leaving little room for your actual project. Rockler has come up with a solution as simple as a tool tray that mounts under your workbench.

Kreg has come out with a new layout tool that just might be good enough to replace your combination square for good. Why? Everything I use my combination square for the Kreg Multi-Mark can do, but it can also do so much more.
