How about both? Introducing the Jointmaker Pro . It is no doubt a cool tool, and probably indispensable to the serious woodworker; but Bridge City Tool Works has to be crazy to charge almost $1300 for this. I cant wait to see what people come up with for a DIY version of this. How about a  saw in a vise, mounted under a top, with some drawer glides.

Milwaukee is coming out with a brand new line of 12" miter saws. They are looking to step up from their 10" line. The saws are set to go on sale early in July, which is surprising considering how little information there is about them.
