New Bosch Workwear – Capris for workers? - Tools In Action Is it fun to laugh at the expense of others? It is when you see people who are supposed to be "construction workers" dancing around like they were on a reality TV show. They got our attention so I guess their plan worked, though maybe not the attention Bosch wanted because the video evidence has been removed from YouTube. Black & Decker is Working on a Modular Power Tool System? - ToolGuyd ToolGuyd seems to have some inside information...
The Art Of Bosch Tools In Slow Motion
Chris   July 12, 2012   1   1
We all love to see things in slow motion. We get to see how the items we use every day really work and what secrets they hold that are normally hidden by normal speed. Check out the video below to see how your everyday Bosch tools work in slow motion. One thing we can see for sure is that it is always best to wear safety glasses when working with tools; there is a lot of small debris flying around.

Dremel has come out with a couple of new oscillating tool accessories that really expand the versatility of oscillating tools and should give you even more chances to use the Multi-Max on your projects. Many professionals consider the Bosch 1677M Worm Drive 7-1/4" Circular Saw to be a good upgrade from the classic Skil 77 Worm Drive and is comparable to the Skil Mag77. I should note that Skil is owned by Bosch Tools and that Bosch likely took some of the best of the Skill 77 to make the 1677M. You might have even noticed a couple of digits in the model number of the Bosch pay tribute to the classic Skil 77; the M also tells us that the saw features a light-weight magnesium foot plate. ...

July is the perfect month to talk about tools that are made in the USA. I had started a list about tools made in the USA in the TR forums but since I closed them down I thought I would bring the topic up again. I also tag all of the USA made tools I mention in articles with a Made in the USA tag and you can find that link in the sidebar to the right.
Bosch Media Event 2012 Wrap-Up
Gary   July 02, 2012   1   5
Bosch, a name synonymous with professional grade tools and accessories, has recently concluded their 2012 press event. There, in addition to seeing their latest products, I got to meet some of the folks responsible for getting these great products into the hands of great professionals--like you. Informing our group, president and CEO of Bosch Power Tools, Terry Horan, mentioned that while other tool companies tout innovation, Bosch has their focus on invention, and that tweaking an existing tool to make it their own is not the way things are done at Bosch. I was reminded that Bosch is...
CST/berger LL20 360-degree Exterior Line Laser
Chris   June 29, 2012   1   0
The 360 Laser Line technology that Bosch has developed has always been impressive to me. It offers much of the benefits of a traditional rotary laser but because it has less moving parts, it can be manufactured at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention that it is super handy to see the line all around the room. Bosch is now moving this same 360 technology to their CST/berger brand and have introduced the LL20 Exterior Self Leveling Line Laser.
Put a Coat On Your Saw Blade And It Will Work Better
Chris   June 28, 2012   0   1
The process for making good circular saw blades is not too complex and thus circular saw blades are becoming increasingly better as the years go by. Because the process is simple, manufacturers are looking at every possible way to get an edge on the competition. Lately the quest for blade superiority has led brands to master blade coatings. Making a sharp blade is not enough.
