I think I have said this before, but when I saw the DeWalt ToughSystem and the features it offered, it was love at first sight. I was already in the market for a modular type storage system/tool box and had been scoping the offerings from the other brands, but the ToughSystem had a complete solution that best suited my needs.

There have been huge safety changes to power tools over these last few years by manufacturers, fueled by consumer demands to cut down on harmful dust particles. Manufacturers are coming out with great new dust extraction advancements each year, but the hand tool category has remained completely untouched. But that has all changed with the introduction of the Veritas hand plane dust extraction shroud.

So you have one of those 12V Ultra-Compact Reciprocating Saws, but how is your supply of blades for the tool? Thankfully most of these compact saws come with a couple of the smaller than usual blades with your purchase, but where do you turn when you have used them up? Bosch wants you to turn to them and their new line of Pocket Reciprocating Saw Blades.

It turns out the 2012 Bosch Tool Catalog is now available at select tools stores and available online, and hidden inside its paper-thin walls are a few exciting new tools. Jay discovered a new Bosch Laser that is specifically designed to check the levelness of floors as well as a new Bosch wet tile/stone saw. Too bad it looks like the floor level cannot be used on walls. When doing wall paneling, a flat wall is a must and making a wall flat is the hardest part. ...
