Do you know what the 30's and 40's looked like in color? Just about everything we see from that period of time is in black and white, and it is hard to picture it any other way. Sure there are movies that depict the era, but how accurate are they to the real thing?

I always roll with a bottle of Gorilla Glue in my tool box, as one never knows when he/she might need to glue something up. But reaching for that glue bottle only to find out that it has cured in the bottle, can be a real problem. The thing about Gorilla Glue is that it reacts and cures using water, and evidently, even the moisture in the atmosphere is enough to start the curing process. Knowing how unhappy dried up glue makes us, Gorilla Glue set out to fix the problem.

When I first saw the DeWalt ToughtSystem I knew right away that it was something that I wanted to try out on the job. I had already been looking for a better way to store and transport my tools on the job, and a modular system was high on the list. The thing that really hooked me on the ToughSystem was the way the boxes attach to the L-Cart Carrier, and that they can each be removed individuality. There was one problem with the boxes though, they were hard to find. Amazon was one...

Dust collection systems, attachments and accessories always seem to be popular at the World of Concrete trade show. With concrete being the main ingredient of the show, there is bound to be a fair amount of concrete dust, so it is only obvious to showcase tools that help clean it up. Bosch has come out with a number of new DC products that are sure to be welcomed by the people that would normally have to work in a cloud of dust.

Rolling tool boxes are becoming more and more popular on the jobsite. Workers often have to pick up from one location and move to another, and having wheels makes the process that much quicker and easier. Stanley makes a rolling tool chest that is commonly found on the jobsites and is one that I use, but the features on the Keter Master Pro Sliding Tool Chest have me thinking I need a change.

I am still amazed at the amount of jobsite issues an oscillation tool can help me solve, and I am very thankful to have this technology. I also think back to jobs where an oscillating tool could have saved me a ton of time and energy. But as great as these tools are, the blades seem to be the weak link. Is the future of oscillation tools in blades? Maybe titanium blades?

If you are a Man that spends his days using the different tools of the trade, then your hands probably show it. You have battle scars and calluses that match up perfectly with every imperfection on your favorite tool. When the tool doesn't fit your hand, your hand does a better job of fitting the tool. Your hand tells the world that you can build things, and O'Keeffe's Co. wants them.

Ridgid's Trim router is a pretty good deal at around 100 bucks and the user reviews seem to back it up, but what if you could get an even better deal? Well of course this is a Hot Deal article, so a better deal does in fact exist. Home Depot is currently selling the Ridgid Trim Router for only $99, but it also includes a FREE bonus Ridgid 1/4-sheet sander; the sander alone sells for just under $50. The reviews on the sander do not seem to be as good as the reviews on the router, buy hey, you...

I always try to wait for a hot deal before I buy a tool and this is especially true if my purchase will be a power tool. Why not wait and save when you can? Now through January 31, 2012 Amazon has a few free battery deals on select Bosch cordless tools or combo sets, and with the price of batteries the way they are, these deals are well worth it. Also take notice that the free batteries are all the new HC batteries from Bosch. Deal 1: Free Slim Pack HC (1.5Ah) battery with purchase of...

Rockler makes and sells tons of great products that make building stuff a whole lot easier, and the task they want to make easier this time, is building custom window shutters. Their new shutter jig solves the problem of positioning and spacing the shutters correctly, but Rockler also has an online plan wizard so that you can make sure each shutter fits onto each window.
