This delivers the near-instantaneous drop of the saw blade below the tabletop when it detects human flesh coming in contact with the blade – mitigating user injury and all without damaging the blade. After an activation has occurred, the system can be reset in less than 60 seconds. The saw works with nearly all standard 10 In. fine finish and construction-grade blades and stacked dado blades. The tool features an enhanced SquareLock™ rip fence engineered for precision. This kit includes the Gravity-Rise™ Wheeled Stand for outstanding mobility to the jobsite. It includes single-action setup and take down for fast, easy mobility. This saw also includes a rear outfeed support that extends the work surface 18 In. This saw has a powerful 15-amp, 4.0-hp max motor that produces 3,650 rpm, and its advanced motor electronics include an onboard control system that interfaces with an NFC-enabled phone app, soft-start, Constant Response™ and overload-protection circuitry. We believe this is the most advanced, user-friendly portable jobsite table saw in the industry. Injury Deterrence The Active Response Technology™ system on the GTS1041A table saw protects the tools users can't replace. It detects human flesh that comes in contact with the blade and delivers a near-instantaneous drop of the saw blade below the tabletop. This reduces the potential for serious injury and occurs without damaging the blade. After activation, the system can be reset in less than 60 seconds. The dual-activation cartridge allows for two activations before replacement is needed. Additional onboard cartridge storage is also located onboard the tool. Onboard System Control The saw's onboard control panel features an intuitive LED light display that indicates the saw's status. The large LED lights in the display are highly visible and readable, even on an outdoor jobsite. This system has built-in Near Field Communication (NFC), a technology that works with an NFC-enabled phone to retrieve data from the tool to an app. This data includes the number of system activations, servicing needs, access to instructions and other details – which helps users work at maximum productivity. There is also a troubleshooting app for a non-NFC-enabled phones (iOS phones). Precision Cuts and Great Capacity This 10 In. saw builds on Bosch's heritage of award-winning table saw design, with a powerful 4.0-hp max motor with 15 amps and 3,650 rpm for ample power for jobsite use. It includes soft-start to manage motor start-up and Constant Response™ circuitry to maintain speed under load. The table saw has an enhanced SquareLock™ rip fence engineered for exact clamping and a more substantial feel, similar to a cabinet-saw-grade glide. It also has spring-loaded presquaring that aligns the rip fence to the blade before locking, for cutting trueness. The saw features a large cast aluminum top, supplying increased work space and material support with a 25 In. ripping capacity. The included rear outfeed extends 18 In. for additional rear material support. Stand for Portability The Bosch Gravity-Rise™ Wheeled Table Saw Stand included with this GTS1041A-09 kit makes setup and take down quicker than ever, so users can spend more time working. It's extremely portable: the 8 In. wheels with treaded, solid rubber tires can handle the toughest terrain with ease and never go flat. Together, the table saw with rear outfeed and the stand weigh only 133 Lbs., making this unit convenient and portable, even when transporting it up and down stairs. Its collapsible design minimizes storage space requirements, so transporting this stand to, from, and around the jobsite is very user-friendly.
