So what sets the Bosch SGH182 Screwgun apart from the rest? At 3.5lbs with a 4.0Ah battery, it is the lightest of the bunch, but it might also be the most powerful.

2015 has started, and like many of you, I have a wish list of tools or features I would like to see come out or be announced during the new year. Often time’s new tools are announced way in advance at trade shows or other media events, but sometimes manufacturers just like to surprise us with their latest creations. There might be some hope to see some of these in the new year, but others might just remain dreams.

Sometimes charging multiple batteries can be a real pain in the butt, especially if you have both 18V and 12V batteries that need charging. Milwaukee’s new (48-59-1807) M18 & M12 Rapid Charge Station not only promises to charge your batteries 40% faster, but it can charge up to three batteries at once.

Drilling, tapping, and deburring typically requires three separate tools and at least a couple of minutes of your time for each hole. Klein has introduced their new Drill Tap Tool Kit that requires only one tool to accomplish all three tasks, and best of all, it is a lot faster to use.

Milwaukee has announced that they are releasing a new cordless M18 Sawzall Reciprocating Saw (2621) with updated features and technology that will replace the aging model 2620. It has been a few years since the previous model came out, so the 2621 will bring the M18 Sawzall up to par with the rest of Milwaukee’s cordless tool line. 

Milwaukee has multi-bay chargers for their M18 batteries and they just recently came out with a new multi-bay charger that handles both M18 and M12 Milwaukee batteries. Coming this March, Milwaukee Tool will be releasing a new Four Bay Sequential Charger (48-59-1204) for their M12 lithium-ion batteries.

DeWalt wants drywall carpenters to Get More Done, thanks to their new DCF620 20V Max Brushless Lithium Ion Drywall Screwgun with Extended Runtime battery packs. The combination, they say, is what professionals need to get the job done without the hassle of long extension cords.
