Organized? Lift-n-LOK might help.

by Chris     June 21, 2008

The Lift-n-LOK is the type of thing I like to see. Small family companies building functional products, made in the USA.

It is a little too late for Fathers day, but this would sure make a great gift for just about anyone. From birthdays to Mothers day. Just be sure that if you get one, review it here.

The Lift-n-LOK looks like the best tool/fastener organization system I have seen in a long time. The only thing I would like to see, is more sizes, and some available with wheels and luggage style handle. This would make it more portable for jobsite work.

If PDY Systems would like to send me a free demo, I would be happy to do a full review. :)

Cool tool, or waste of cash?

by Chris     June 16, 2008

How about both? Introducing the Jointmaker Pro .

It is no doubt a cool tool, and probably indispensable to the serious woodworker; but Bridge City Tool Works has to be crazy to charge almost $1300 for this.

I cant wait to see what people come up with for a DIY version of this. How about a  saw in a vise, mounted under a top, with some drawer glides.

Tool-Rank.com Free Bosch PS40-2 & PS20 Giveaway

by Chris     July 11, 2008

This is just a Pre-announcement. Tool-Rank.com is going to be hosting its first tool giveaway. We will be giving away a Bosch Ps40-2 Impactor that we will be using for our first in depth review. Bosch is offering a free PS20(tool only) with Mail in rebate, so the winner will also receive it as well.

In order to be eligible for the contest, you must be a registered user, with at least 10 tool reviews. You can not split up tool packages in order to get more reviews, e.g.,  a pack of chisels must be reviews as a pack. If you have a cordless combo, you can review each tool in the combo, as long as the tool is also sold individually.

The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible contestants. Winner must be at least 18 years old and the delivery address for the prize must be within the contiguous 48 states of the USA. Employees, friends, and family are not eligible.

The contest has not officially started yet, but I am letting you know now, so you can get a head start on your 10 reviews.
