Milwaukee has announced what they are calling “the most advanced radio of its kind”, and from the list of features the (2792-20) M18 Jobsite Radio/Charger has, it would be hard to argue with them.
When you need to make long straight cuts on the jobsite one of the best ways to do it is with a track saw (or plunge saw), but transporting and using long tracks on the jobsite is not always easy. So wouldn't it be great if you could roll up your track and store it in your tool case? While this does sound impossible, a company called Mafell makes a track saw system that does just that.

Woot is running a special on the Porter-Cable PCC606LA 20V Max ½-Inch Cordless Drill-Driver Kit for the low price of $79.99 + shipping. The next lowest price I can find for it online is $99, but most stores are selling it for $109 or higher. The kit does include one 20V Max lithium-ion compact battery, a charger, and a double ended bit-tip.
This would be a good beginner’s drill. It could probably do most things your average DIY’er can throw at it, but the 4-hour charger makes it not ideal for heavy usage. It is hard to get an 18-volt drill with a battery for under $130 unless it is on sale, though better deals might come along as we get closer to Christmas.
Do you need a trailer that you can just pull up to the job site and get right to work without having to unload all your tools. The problem with most trailers is the limited access to your tools. If you need something in the back, you have to unload everything in front of it.
We have seen a couple of combination miter/table saws now enjoying freedom in the U.K., one from Bosch with a table mounted on top of a miter saw, and one from Makita that flips to transform. Now it is DeWalt's turn to join in on the fun with their very own flipping combination transformation miter/table saw.
I have always looked at the Festool MFT (Multi-Function Table) as great little work table, but not practical for jobsite use. I just never liked the idea of having to carry it around on the jobsite along with all of my other tools. But Timothy Wilmots' modified MFTC (Multi-Function Tool Cart) looks like an ideal way to transport both the MFT and your tools.
We have seen circular saws used as table saw replacements with the Eurekazone tracksaw system, and now there is a new system from PUPS (Portable Universal Power Station) that can turn a circular saw to an accurate miter saw.
